Could Multi Rotor Copters Save Lives?

A German non profit company called Definetz is working on a copter capable of carrying a defibrillator and parachuting it down to heart attack victims. It's not the first time we've heard of copters or "drones" as the media calls them, being talked about for widespread commercial use. Everyone remembers the Taco Copter with their plans to deliver tacos to local customers. This one, however, is geared towards saving lives. The aptly named Defikopter would be guided by a GPS enabled smartphone app and could potentially reach people in need much faster than an ambulance could by avoiding traffic and flying with a direct path at speeds up to 45MPH.
